Ethics Competition


The American Institute of Constructors Collegiate Ethics Competition was created to showcase the ethical prowess of the best and brightest University Students. The Competition is held yearly in conjunction with the AIC’s Annual Forum. Each Competition will be based on the AIC Program on Construction Ethics. The first competition will be held in 2015 in Ft. Worth, TX.

Who Can Compete?

Any Accredited Construction Program may enter a single team of up to 5 individuals to compete. Each university is responsible for transportation and lodging.

The Competition Rules

Each team will be required to submit a written report as well as give an oral presentation on April 14th. The Written Report will be have 40 possible points; the Oral Presentation 60 possible points. The team with the highest combined score will win the competition.

The winning team will be recognized during the Annual Forum, receive 1-Year AIC Membership, be featured on the AIC Website and newsletter and receive an Associate Constructor Exam Scholarship. In addition a special plaque will be provided to the winning team.

How to Register a Team

If you are interested in registering a team please download the competition overview document which includes a team registration form. Forms must be completed and returned by January 31, 2015 for teams to be considered. Space may be limited and AIC reserves the right to limit the competition to first come first served.
